“Teaching the Heart of Dance” since 1969

FIRST STEPS PROGRAM

This program is designed for children ages 2-4 and will introduce them to the fundamentals of dance, along with learning how to interact with peers and teachers.  Each step is designed to take them into the art of dance.

STEP 1: TODDLER TIME

2  YEAR OLDS

Tuesday 10:15am-11:00am Studio B
Wednesday 10:15am-11:00am Studio B

A 45 minute class involving structured time such as tumbling and creative movement and unstructured time where they can play and interact with each other.  We have a basketball hoop, balance beam and tunnel that are used during this time.

STEP 2: 3 YEAR OLD PROGRAM

Tuesday 11:00am-11:45am Studio A
Saturday 9:45am-10:30am Studio B

A 45 minute class introducing them to basic ballet steps and tumbling.
Dress Code: Girls: Black leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes
Boys: Solid color t-shirt, black gym shorts or sweatpants, black leather ballet shoes

STEP 3: 4 YEAR OLD PROGRAM

Wednesday 3:30pm-4:30pm Studio B (3.5-4 year olds)
Saturday 10:30pm-11:30pm Studio B (4-5 year olds)

A one hour class of ballet, tumbling and introducing them to tap.
Dress Code: Girls: Black leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes, tan maryjane tap shoes

Boys: Solid color t-shirt, black gym shorts or sweatpants, black leather ballet shoes, black tap shoes

COMBO I CLASSES

5-7 Year Olds

Tuesday 4:30pm-5:30pm Studio B
Thursday 4:30pm-5:30pm Studio B

6-10 Year Olds

Saturday 11:30-12:30pm Studio B

8-12 Year Olds

Thursday 5:30pm-6:30pm Studio B

Combo I is a class designed for the beginner and will build a foundation for the student while learning proper posture and technique, while introducing them to basic dance terminology and helping to build self confidence. It is a 1 hour class consisting of ballet, tap and basic tumbling.

Dress Code: Girls: Black leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes, tan maryjane tap shoes

Boys: Solid color t-shirt, black gym shorts or sweatpants, black leather ballet shoes, black tap shoes

COMBO II CLASSES   

5-7 Year Olds

6-8 Year Olds

Tuesday 4:00pm-5:00pm Studio A

6-10 Year Olds

Saturday 11:00am-12:00pm Studio A

7-9 Year Olds

Monday 4:30pm-5:30pm Studio A

8-12 Year Olds

Tuesday 5:30pm-6:30pm Studio B

Combo II is a class designed for students with previous dance training. It is a 1 hour class consisting of ballet and tap.

Boys: Solid colored t-shirt, black gym shorts or sweatpants, black leather ballet shoes, black tap shoes
